Tori Haynes is an artist based in North Carolina who is currently studying at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to receive their BFA in Illustration. In 2023 they graduated high school from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts after being admitted into the Visual Arts Program.

They were part of UNCSA’s 2023 Exhibition at SECCA displaying the piece, “My Garden”. In 2023 they also received a Silver and Gold Key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards which were exhibited in the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC.

Their work explores vibrancy through tragedy. Recreating their own experiences through a variety of color palettes and media. Their process helps them to understand themselves and those around them in order to grow not only artistically but as a person.
