There’s something so Haunting about photography
I’ve always thought there is something haunting about photography it traps memories and people so they can never grow old or change. I will always have a soft spot for capturing subjects as they are at that moment.
“ I sometimes wonder what lies behind my grandmothers smile. Through her pale blue eyes is something I have only ever heard of in hushed voices. How tragedy struck her when my father was only four. Leaving him fatherless. How she processed and moved on while everyone in the community talked. Eyes silently blamed her. But she never burdened me with it. Neither did my father. As though it had never happened and the grandfather that I had known all my life was always there”.
What could you be hiding?
